Inmatica has been investing significantly in R&D since its establishment, and mainly in projects and products that involve the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in its many variations, Cybersecurity, Cloud, Big data, Augmented and Virtual Reality, as well as Internet of Things (IoT) paradigms also applied to innovative Sensoristics, very often developed in collaboration with leading research centers.

The wide range of skills, both “traditional” and innovative, that Inmatica has acquired over the years has been built through its ongoing involvement in increasingly cutting-edge projects and the use of up-to-date and often innovative technologies, but also through the application of these skills to increasingly modern use cases.

Thanks especially to its office in Lecce, adjacent to the University campus, which is immersed in the particularly dynamic academic and industrial ecosystem of the Salento province and the entire Apulian territory, Inmatica has activated relevant collaborations with prestigious universities, such as the Portuguese University de Coimbra, “Tor Vergata” University of Rome, University of Salento, University of Bari, Polytechnic University of Bari, Polytechnic University of Turin, University of Ferrara, and with major national and international players in the field of research, such as IIT, INFN, CNR and CERN in Geneva.
