This project investigated the applicability of advanced analysis and Artificial Intelligence (AI) techniques to study and predict domestic electricity use from data obtained from smart meters.

The aim is to study new analysis techniques to be applied in the future to data acquired from a network of power sensors interconnected according to the principles of theInternet of Things (IoT) and manipulated according to the Big Data paradigm.

The project is being carried out through collaborations with the UniSalento Department of Innovation Engineering and the Lecce section of INFN, the National Institute of Nuclear Physics.
